Extreme Dreams

The Extreme Dreams website was launched in 2002, (3 - 4 years before the BBC's TV series of the same name was made), and is based around the adventures of registered blind extreme sports enthusiast, adventurer, and occasional public speaker, Dean (Deano) Dunbar.
The adventures and extreme sports featured on the left hand side are not a random list, but have all been done by Deano, (The Blind Man), and some have included world firsts.
Please note, Extreme Dreams does not offer any activities, but a link to the company we used can be found at the bottom of most activity pages.
Alternatively, you can go to the links page and find more activities, extreme sports and providers there.
Extreme Dreams is continually growing as we try more extreme sports and take up new challenges.

Street Workouts Are Way Harder Than Your Workouts | Barstarzz Freestyle Calisthenics, Ep. 2

Freestyle Calisthenics is a creative workout regimen that uses playground equipment to strengthen arm, back, and core muscles. It's pretty freaking neat to watch, too. When you think of great adventure-sport towns, Brooklyn and Queens, New York rarely come to mind. But that's just because you haven't met Samer and Nirose. These two Northeasterners are among the top freestyle exercisers in the New York scene. In short, that means that their pull-ups are way cooler than yours. They've sworn off weight rooms and exercise club fees for the freedom of city parks and their ubiquitous chin-up bars. The only downside is that they sometimes have to share their equipment with children. Don't miss Nirose doing handstand pushups on top of a swing set while a kid swings below him at 1:55.
