Bike (GNT) – Hawick to wee gate

November 2021

On arrival at Hawick, the sun was shining. By the time we set off, the clouds had come over and the light was dimpsy. (Not great for me.)
For the first 7km, we were on the main road, and the poor light wasn’t much of an issue. However, as we left the road and started to follow a grassy track, my sight failed me. Just a few hundred metres along we met a gate, and I decided to call it a day.
Wouldn’t you believe it, 2 hours later as we drove out of Hawick, the clouds cleared and the sun came out! Grrrrr!!
