Bike (GNT) – Middleton Top to Friden, England

November 2021

Don’t you just love technology, (when it works).
Today Rhona and I went to the southern end of the Great North Trail and pedalled out from Middleton Top. We set the Go Pro camera on Rho’s bike as we biked up the track, through the unlit tunnel, and up to Friden car park where we turned around and headed back.
It was only when we got home that we found the GoPro hadn’t taken a single shot. It made all the right beeps, and the lights flashed, but no pics. So, you’ll just have to take my word that we did the route.
The track was very easy to follow, but the unlit tunnel definitely raised the pucker factor for me!
It was just a short bike ride, as we had Molly, (my guide dog), in the van. As she gets used to being in the van on her own, we’ll hopefully start to get back out on the longer rides. Not a massive ride, but very enjoyable.
