Bike (GNTT) – Black Bridge south to woods, then north to Meall Chaorainn, Sutherland, Scotland.

After a wee 9km morning bike ride along the shores of Loch Glascarnoch with Molly, it was off to Black Bridge to get some GNT kms in.
Before lunch we did a short, (4.05km), ride down the very quiet A835 from Black Bridge down to the woods, before turning around and heading back.
After lunch we then headed off into the hills for some proper GNT mountain biking. A few kms in we were joined by a wee dog, who stayed with us for the next 3+kms. Fortunately we bumped into a guy in his 4×4, who recognised it as being Donald’s new pup. After a fond farewell to wee Donald, it was off along the shore of Loch Vaich, before climbing up the track next to Meall Chaorainn.
As the weather felt like it may turn, and my eyes were beginning to tire, we turned around and headed back to base at Black Bridge.
