Prone – Clunie Loch, Scotland

A couple of weeks ago I thought I was a real roughty toughty ice warrior, proning along in the sub-4 degree waters of Clunie, in my thin long sleeve rash top and neoprene gloves.
Then a few days ago I bumped into Mel & Nicky, who told me that they had a couple of videos of me on the water that cold day. Not only had they been on the shore, but along with several others, they’d been in the loch swimming. Yes, SWIMMING!! And several of these local “ladies wot swim”, were wearing just swimming costumes and hats!
It seems this roughty toughty ice warrior is a bit of a lightweight!!
