River Tay, Perth, Scotland

Thanks to my good friend Piotr of Outdoor Explore for taking me out on the River Tay for some training for the Sup11 – City Tour.
It was a challenging paddle with us paddling against the tide but with a strong wind behind us, and then turning around and paddling back up into the wind, but with the tide, with a few waves thrown in to make it interesting!
As well as using these sessions to get some of his own training done, Piotr has been showing and explaining different aspects of the lower river to me, in the hope that I will soon be able to go paddling on my own on these sections, without a “set of eyes”. Thanks Piotr!
