Union Canal, Edinburgh
March 2016
[featured-video-plus]Today I met up with Suze from Porty for another paddle. As the wind was pretty wild, we decided to head up the Union Canal for an hour or so. The wind was in our faces, and on a couple of occasions, it was so strong we were paddling on the spot, which gave Suze a great chance to count the number of shopping trollies and bikes below us. As we arrived at Wester Hailes we decided we’d probably seen the best bits, and it was now time to turn around and head back to Fountainbridge, with the wind blowing us all the way back. Wouldn’t you know it, just as we turned around, the wind dropped. So much for an easy glide back!
